I haven't yet, but will be soon.Plantella wrote:I played Maple Story for about an hour. I'm normally on World of Warcraft and I havent found an mmo more fun than that. Although not an rpg, Audition is really fun and free. Its like Bust a Groove online and theres lots of clothes you can get for your character.

I wanted to try Fly for Fun next, has anyone played that?
So far I've only played one MMO RPG and thats Final Fantasy XI. Yes, I finally got it working! So far I love it.
yeah definitely! I think the person you're adding has to be online though when you add them. I'm playing as my dragon Ashten most the time, so just keep trying to add my SN, you'll get it eventually, as I'm on the game a lot now. xDDark_Fairy wrote:Hey, exigence and LuNaRtic, is it okay if I add you guys to my friends on Trickster? I have no friends on Trickster, so I need some.
I've only played with my sheep, Tenshi3. I have a dragon and a cat as my other 2 characters that I haven't used yet.
ya go ahead and add me but can you tell me how to add some one with out right clicking on them.Dark_Fairy wrote:Hey, exigence and LuNaRtic, is it okay if I add you guys to my friends on Trickster? I have no friends on Trickster, so I need some.

You can add friends by clicking on the friend button by the Myshop button and the other things down at the bottom of the screen. They have to be online to add them though.exigence wrote:ya go ahead and add me but can you tell me how to add some one with out right clicking on them.Dark_Fairy wrote:Hey, exigence and LuNaRtic, is it okay if I add you guys to my friends on Trickster? Ah, Maple Story. I played that during Beta and for a short time after it opened officially, but eventually gave up on it. As an avid MMORPG player I am accustomed to grinding, but Maple Story took grinding to a whole new level, slapped on some shackles and beat you over the ass with a spiked club.
I tried to get back into Maple Story awhile ago, but the hacking has gotten out of control. Hackers on every single map. It's not even worth the time. I also tried a small Maple Story "clone" called Ghost Story - the Malaysian version I believe. Don't think there is a Global version yet. I personally enjoyed it far more than Maple Story (the ability to run and super jump is awesome), but the grind is just as bad and so it got boring just as fast.
As of right now, I'm only playing Dofus. As a free player, of course. I'd never PAY to play a Flash-based MMORPG...but it is a turn-based, strategy RPG ala Final Fantasy Tactics / Disgaea, and I LOVE that about it. Also looking forward to Wakfu, the "sequel" to Dofus.
...and I realize every bit of that is off-topic, so: No, I don't play any on that list. (To be honest I didn't even look at the list, but since none of what I mentioned is really truly free, I'm assuming none are on it)
EDIT: Well I looked at the list and it was a lot bigger and expansive than I anticipated. >_> I played a lot of those in the past (Dark Ages, Trickster...to name a few).
Ah...Trickster. I started the first day of Beta. I still remember the constant delays. There must have been over a month of delays between the day it was supposed to be released and the day it finally was. So frustrating..
I was addicted to it majorly and played for a good two months I think. The leveling system (well - stat system) was a bit wonky and the whole interface and map was a little confusing. I quit when all my friends (from a forum I go to - we all waited throughout the delays and joined together) left. It got really boring without them.
...now you've got me wanting to play it again, but I'd probably be so lost and confused. >> I think I'll stick to Dofus while I wait for Wakfu.
