I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but many sites are now listing a March release date.

3/2/2010 on gamestop's site now. But gamestop release dates can really be taken with a grain of salt.

Amazon has 3/2 as well. Looks like it's been delayed again.

Yeah at gamestop today I asked about it in person too. They said it's not even street dated.

I guess we are all pretty used to delays at this point!

Goddamn Working Designs!..... oh wait.

They probably delayed it again because of people complaining about everything (you know who you are). Even so, if it was a WD release we'd get it in 2011.

I'd rather have them take their time and delay it rather than boot it out the door. It doesn't bother me to wait a little longer.

Actually, XSEED probably got a bunch of e-mails from old school Lunar fans who played the demo and complained that it was too different from the Working Designs version (duh!) so XSEED, in an effort to appease these fans who want them to do everything like WD, decided to delay the game in a classic WD imitation in order to make them feel right at home! :)

Seriously though, this sucks, I had JUST made an update on RPGFan 2 days ago and mentioned in it that the release date was February 23rd... DOH! Hopefully the game sticks to this new release. I guess that'll give me some time to start another portable RPG to play on the commute to work every day. I'm thinking maybe Sands of Destruction could tide me over.

I mentioned Sands of Destruction in a different post, and it piqued my interest when I watched a video on Amazon for it. Let me know how you like it, Rudo.

Sure thing, I'm in the process of finishing Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story right now so I'll jump on Sands after I'm done and let you know. One of my editor is working on a review of Sands of Destruction and should be done by next so I'll also post a link to the review. I wonder if it's going to be a positive or negative review. I'm hoping it's positive, a JRPG made by people who worked on Xenogears and Grandia and published by Sega, it BETTER be good!

Two delays you can always count on: Diablo and Lunar. I've accepted it as just the way the world works. :P

Don't forget Starcraft 2.... the better the game the more delays it would seem :p

Release date change is such a bummer. When you have limited funds and Lunar and Final Fantasy releases come within a week of each other it's not fun time for you.

However if it comes down to choose between the two it's obviously Lunar!

I know, talk about a birthday bummer. I think delays should equal more bonus swag.
