冗談 = じょうだん
はなかった → じゃなかった
おめでとうございます: this wasn't 'wrong' before, just that kanji is almost never used. KF

*sigh* Back to the books with me. It's still my major problem, I'm getting better at understanding/reading correct Japanese. However, speaking and writing/spelling on my own are still problematic.

Actually Sonic#, I believe it would be safer to just not believe anything they say period. They have a history of drawing things out some to get the joke =P Some dedicated folks they are.
