I have to be honest...

Re: Announcement about Lunar novels
I mostly had in mind the translation. However, it's hard to say because I don't think the translation was bad, I just think the material wasn't something that lent itself to the type of translation effort it was given (namely, spanning it across one book per volume instead of one for all four, and adding in a ton of extra description). So the ratio of substance to words was pretty low.DevNall wrote:The novel itself or the translation?Kizyr wrote:I have to be honest...

The novel itself is a pretty light read. It was certainly tough for me because SSS Vol. 1 was the first novel I ever read in another language. For that reason, and because it's Lunar, it has a special place for me. But beyond that, it didn't strike me as something that warrants having a series of four special e-book releases like they were initially planning.
Plus the storyline is really weird if you're so used to the original TSS or SSS storyline. KF

Re: Announcement about Lunar novels
Does anyone know why they cancelled these exactly? Is it because not enough of us bought them or something? That really sucks because I was hoping to read the rest of them... Are there any fan translations out there for the other books besides the summaries on the site?
