Official I Love Lucia Thread

Post by Angelalex242 »

...Read my sig. I'm her PR guy. I was long before people came up with the idea of being somebody else's PR guy. I am but the humble servant of the beautiful goddess...

So let us use this thread to convert to Luciaism. And snuggle and bow down and so on.
Don't blame me, Lucia promised me lots of snuggles and cuddles if I would be her PR guy.

My love for her shall last unto the end of time and beyond. But in the meantime, I shall steal this haiku from Grandpa Gwyn and apply it to the lady in my sig.

Heavenly Bodies
Eyes gaze upward in rev'rance
Goddess in a Thong

Bah, Grandpa Gwyn is a plagiarizer!

Those haiku's were written by a few of us WDMBers back in the day. Gwyn stole 'em!

Yup, that was ToastyFrog's. I know it was one of the two I voted for which made it in, but I don't remember what the other one was. Naturally, I liked mine best but I couldn't vote for it. I think I still have all of the entries somewhere. Hm, that might be an interesting thing to put on the site sometime...the also-rans.

Yeah, when I posted that I was thinking "I wish we had an archive of the WDMB" as I don't even know which haiku was for which person. In fact, I think this would make a decent section on the EBC section of LunarNET.

I have them all, with author names and contest rules. Julie (Stucky) made a page for them to help the voting process and I saved it. Complete with stupid GeoCities popup. :P

Althena died.

Lucia did NOT die.

I'll worship the living goddess in my heart, thanks. <3

Hmmm, I hate the bust your bubble, but since when did dead gods and goddesses stop the worship of them? :P

Besides which, Lucia is a) extremely fallible and b) we don't know that she decided to stay immortal, or even if she IS immortal outside of her crystal; we only knew Althena ceased to exist because we saw her recording 1000 years later. A story 1000 years after Lunar 2 might well show that she didn't even outlive Hiro.

It might, it might not, but we'll likely never have evidence one way or the other.

And while there is hope Lucia might remain immortal, there is none that Althena is still alive.

And if I continue this any further, you're going to end up repeating something you've said 10 times over.

Besides, goddess are only more loveable when they make mistakes now and then.

But... if she's a Goddess, how can she make a mistkae? By definition, she shouldn't be ABLE to. It's like.... totally freakin' with my mind!

I believe that gods and goddesses are totally able to make mistakes.

...these are your anthropomorphic, human-like gods and goddesses, like with ancient Greco-Roman religion. They make mistakes, have screwups, and exhibit human emotions. Not the God like with the Abrahamic faiths, or even like the gods and goddesses in Hinduism.

Fictitious religion, you can do anything with it, hence why it's fun to muse over. KF

Precisely!

So let's all convert to Luciaism.

How hard can it be. All you have to do is sing once in a while and love eachother as you would be loved, and it's all good.

Bah, that's Althenaism, not Luciaism. Lucia doesn't learn what singing is until the Carnival (in EB, dunno about EBC). And it's Althena who's the Goddess of Love and Beauty. Lucia's more the Demi-goddess of Distrust and Anorexia.
