Largest ever time cut just achieved in Lunar the Silver Star WR Speedrun!

I finally got a good run with my new route. Lunar the silver star jumps from a 2:57 straight to a 2:51 cutting 5 minutes and 43 seconds from the former world record - the single largest time cut ever in the history of the game!
I'm still not done though, looking to drop the game to 2:49:XX before moving back to the Japanese version.

Sorry I'm not able to watch the full vid right now, but... Are there any bugs/glitches that you take advantage of to skip major parts? I don't keep up with speedrunners too much so I have no idea if any have been found/used for TSS.

I just took another 5 minutes off of that WR! A triumph! Solid run that I can rest on for a while!

I'm headed back to 100% now because it got accepted to Completithon this year - I'll link to that when it's getting closer. Trying to get a final time of sub 5:30 in that I guess.

Then it's back to the Japanese version to get the sub 2:45 any% run.

I may never improve this 2:46 English pb, idk. If I get greedy I may come back to take it past the 2:45 barrier...but man...this one feels real good. I'm actually legit satisfied with this run finally.

Does anyone have a time on SSSC? This will have to include gathering all Red Chests & Bromides. (Maybe secret items too)

Speed runs are easy and simple. Gathering everything in record time is what i respect the most
