Personally though. Sony needs to take more responsibility for the shoddy hareware they put out. So many PS1 and PS2's had trouble, and there's already complaints on a number of PSP issues. I agree. I really hope Sony takes a hit for their poor quality somewhere down the road. The other two console ...

I know several people who were inspired to read The Lord of the Rings after watching the movies. The sales for Tolkien's books certainly went up due to Peter Jackson's films. I think they even got onto the bestseller lists again. I doubt that everyone who bought the books read them, but I know for a...

Earlier this month I randomly decided to take out my Genesis and play Contra: Hard Corps and Castlevania: Bloodlines. I've also play Street Fighter : Anniversary Collection and Mega Man Anniversary Collection, both of which are compilations of some older games.

I'm reading The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and CLay by Michael Chabon. It's an extremely good read, but I'm too tired right now to tell you why.

I think I've developed an addiction to the first KOTOR. If you had asked me about KOTOR a few weeks ago, I would have told you that the constant load times and confusing (to me) battle system drove me away. I picked it up again a week or so ago and the game "clicked" with me. I'd stopped in the midd...

That's really impressive. I love hiking, but I'd definitely have a hard time with that. Where are your favorite places for hiking?

L's and R's are often switched in Japanese-English or English-Japanese translations. Perhaps Meribia could have been translated Melibia? It wouldn't sound as good as Meribia, but it would make sense.

I'm a Fire Emblem fan. I recently started playing The Sacred Stones, and I like it quite a bit. I'm still only on Chapter Six though, since I haven't played too much lately. I'm planning to use a more eclectic group of characters than I did in the previous FE, where I essentially limited myself to "...

I'm 17, so I'm one of the younger members of the board.

I played Lunar when it came out on the Sega CD when I was 15.

Wow. Lunar on the Playstation was a few years old by the time I was 15.

I played Batman on the original Game Boy, which I understand is pretty much a port of the NES game. I was pretty good at the platformer levels, but I could never beat the second Batwing level. It's a shame, since I really wanted to fight the Joker.

I get the impression I'd love the first two Lufia games and that I'd probably like the third as well. Unfortunately, I only own the weakest game in the series. You can be assured, however, that if I ever see a used copy of Lufia I or II that I will buy it. I've wanted to play those games for a while.

What was the name of the first action/rpg for the PS2? I believe it was like everquest or everlast or something along those lines. You played as a guy with white hair and a sword. That was by far the worst game I believe I have ever played, except for american gladiators on the SNES Evergrace. If t...

I can't say I really despise any of these games, but the following really get on my nerves: Xenogears- Confusing plotline, ugly graphics, irritating puzzles, and the focus on slow-paced Gear battles all bugged me. Still, I liked the game enough to finish it. Breath of Fire III- Just didn't really in...
