Re: LiStEn!!! tHE LuNaR HsS OsT
I'm really enjoying what I've been hearing from the rearrangements so far. I'm particularly happy to see the battle musics have a lot more energy behind them. Someone on youtube also has a collection of the battle musics from Harmony and while it isn't the best quality, I can already tell the last b...

"This is mixed with a new level-up system. In previous versions, players only gain additional hit points; in Silver Star Harmony, all your stats improve, making your party much more effective in battle."

Re: Lunar: Silver Star Harmony demo in the PSN store!
I'm really liking how the game is looking so far. The backgrounds are vibrant and well detailed, the battle animations are ultra smooth and the music arrangements are very well done so far. My one (minor) complaint is how the music fades out when going to a new screen but hopefully that's just a bug...

Re: Dilemma
Yeah, those are the main three for me, too. And I'll play Zelda, too. I only got about eight hours into FF12 before getting bored with it. I'm not sure what it is, but yeah, RPGs don't seem to captivate me like they used to. I'm tempted to just go back and play my older games. I'm with you. i don't ...

Re: Dilemma
I'm not sure. I work, of course, though I have more free time than I did in high school, when I used to play the heck out of games. I find I get bored of games, anime, and books easily these days. I'll watch the heck out of tv dramas like Rome or more recently, Dexter. They're almost the only thing ...

Dilemma
I don't know if it's a sign of my age or maybe I've just played too many RPGs, but for the life of me I can't stay interested in the ones I've been trying lately. I ended up selling Shadow Hearts 2, Arc the Lad Collection, FFX-2, Lost Odyssey and many others without even coming close to beating them...

Re: NA release announced for Lunar: Silver Star Harmony
Yay! Granted, I was kind of hoping Atlus would pick it up because they do great translations and their releases come with extra goodies but I'm glad it's being ported over by someone, in any case...I actually went and got a PSP today >.> Gamestop is having a Buy 2 Used, Get 1 Free deal this weekend,...

Re: Job debating
That's really the question. I'm okay with Best Buy and I like the people there, in general. They put me in a more sales-heavy department (computers) though I was more comfortable in gaming/music/movies, but it meant I got more hours. It is more pressure where I am, though. There's basically a laundr...

Job debating
My local Gamestop is hiring for an assistant manager, which would be full-time with benefits, 35 hours a week minimum. I currently work part time, no benefits at Best Buy with about 31-32 hours a week (which is the most a part timer can get) but you never know if hours will be dropped or not there a...

Returning
Heya folks. I don't know if anyone would remember me but I'm back after another break again. I think the lack of Lunar news kind of made me neglect everything involved and just have been busy with other things. Anyways, I hope everyone has been well!

Re: Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star, for the PSP
Irf, now tempted to get a PSP (also for Crimson Gem Saga), which is sad because I've played three other versions of this game already :P If anyone could handle the translation now that WD is gone, it would be Atlus, I think. They do good work with their translations.

Wild Arms 5?
I didn't see another topic for this, so was wondering...is anyone else planning on getting it? I was mildly interested at first, because feedback I heard of the game so far puts it above the earlier installments of the series. Then, they came out with the announcement of the launch copies coming wit...

Well, I finally finished the game. I guess posting about it here gave me the sudden desire to pick it up again. I guess I finished it more out of compulsiveness than anything, because seriously, I was hating almost every moment. I have to wonder if Gamearts, or more accurately, the people that did t...

Re: Battles
What gets me so far in this game is the inability to choose who i attack. It takes away my strategies. Anyone else feel the same way? What's worse is that not only is it 'random' but at least for me it seems like they almost always attack in the most inefficient way possible. It's like "Let's ...

Bought it two days ago, it's pretty good thus far. Far more opportunities to solo things, or Fellowship them at a lower level, provides choice which is nice. It doesn't have the same skill grinding as Star Wars Galaxies which some people liked, instead it operates on a level/experience scale where ...

I'd have to say the most frustrating times were both on EB for Sega CD, and fights mentioned here before: Borgan and Zophar. With Borgan, it was a long drawn out fight and I figured he was nearly dead before finally nuking me into death. Meanwhile, the first time I fought Zophar, that one pillar of ...

I'm going to have to wait on feedback for this one, then rent it before actually buying. I loved the Babylon 5 original series. That and Firefly were the only sci-fi shows I could ever get into, but a lot of their related productions since then were lackluster, didn't quite live up to the original o...
