Re: Friend's Dad's Suicide
Like people have said, all you can do is be there for your friend in any way he/she needs you. They're probably going to be in a state of shock or autopilot numbness so your presence is best in itself. Good luck and I'm sincerely sorry for your friend and their family.

Re: NPD numbers?
I have a feeling that the game sales are somewhere in the late 20k's to low 30's. I wonder how many Amazon was selling to the point where they were out of stock on the sale item, as the game was still in stock.

Re: NPD numbers?
I don't know if it's really worth an update, because this is a one-day only sale as deal of the day in games. I also want to let you know that Jess isn't able to reveal the sales numbers publically, but that the game sold "fairly well" as she stated but nothing out of the ballpark. We can ...

Re: NPD numbers?
G1, as I said I was talking about sale accuracy to the present date. I posted a question to Jess, so we'll see if she got any info on it. Once we have some numbers we should compare them to VGChartz to see the difference. The game is going to be a slow burner I think, with the majority of fans picki...

Re: People Like The Magic Obelisk
I generally treat my Wii like the bastard child that it is, and Nintendo does a horrendously bad job of showing enough information or gameplay about most games it releases on Virtual Console. You're lucky if you see one or two pictures.
Is there any videos of gameplay around?

Re: TGS Luna Pin-up Costume: The Re-emergence
Shiva, I'm not getting the Luna reference unless the same model had dressed as Luna prior.
This little snippet from the article made me laugh:
Models like Yuko Ogura and Shoko Nakagawa first burst on to the scene by doing things like claiming to be from outer space and sniffing cat butts.

Re: NPD numbers?
I find it kind of funny how you're expecting NeoGaf to supply you with sales figures for Lunar, considering the venomous hate most people on there have for XSEED's localization. Also, most of the sales figures only include March sales so that isn't going to be an accurate presentation of sales to th...

Re: *Important* If you're experiencing any glitches in Lunar:SSH

The psp itself isnt frozen cus i can hit the home menu and the home screen shows up. if i choose to exit the gam...

Re: SSH Game Guide Flops
I only use the guide for the maps, and when things aren't where they're supposed to be it becomes annoying. The Wind Shrine layout was just bad.

Re: Game crashes?
The issues were caused when Game Arts transferred the development kit data onto the PSP format. They should have done a better job with bug testing, but they're not the kind of bugs to occur frequently so they probably got through without notice. Unfortunately they were transferred to the American v...

No, I think you mean Ramus. Either the kid would be extremely successful or just fat with Harry Potter glasses.

Re: *Important* If you're experiencing any glitches in Lunar:SSH
Shiva is right, and as far as mis-matched text boxes it has to do with data conversion to the PSP according to Jess from XSEED. The data dumps somehow get flipped and it makes a mess of things so they have to be re-sorted.

PGJ, I'm sure Jess at XSEED would appreciate seeing that image on the Facebook page if you'd like to post it with info.
I don't know why the hell "Nip that nostalgia in the bud and start button mashing" has anything to do with Lunar.
