I had a roommate in high school (I didn't board, he lived with my family) who, at the age of 18, was forbidden to watch any movie with bare female breasts (or worse!). I jokingly asked him once if it was OK for him to see some violent movie, and he told me, totally seriously, the following: "Ye...

Yeah, the first time it happened to me, one of the top-screen bats (which of course, I couldn't attack anyway) swooped down and pilfered my gear. I thought to myself, "it's no problem, I'm sure I'll get it back after the battle..."

I made a little environment with the RPGMaker XP trial, and I was actually pretty impressed by it. There are a few little annoyances when working with it, but you learn to deal with them pretty fast. I'd say it can meet your needs for basically any RPG though, and with relatively little work!

I've only played EBC one time, but for me it seemed to lack some of the magic of the old one...I don't know. I'm going to replay it soon though.

Wait, so Okayama is actually going to reproduce these? Or someone else with casting experience? I would LOVE to have one of these for my desk...maybe one for the collection also!

Trying so hard...

...to finish this game. I'm having a hard time. I love the world art, especially the towns, but the battles are REALLY wearing me down. It would be much easier to tolerate them if I could choose who to hit, or enemies I can't hit couldn't steal my stuff, or if I didn't have to choose to endure these...

I downloaded it because I couldn't wait, and it was definitely worth it. Straight to buy for me when it comes out. It is annoying though, all the delays. I remember only a few months ago when they were touting a simultaneous release in US and Japan

The last time I heard it mentioned was in an interview with the creator in EGM. He said they were on schedule for launch, whenever that is. Then again, release dates almost never hold, so I'd be looking for it anywhere between next Fall and the end of time :? I'll see if I can dig up the magazine so...

Yay LUNAR!

Well, I've played all the (American) games dozens of times, but something about the winter season always brings the obsession back. :D Now I'm marathoning both the SegaCD games and the PS remakes with the emu h4x, and trying to force myself to finish Dragon Song, and I thought I'd get into the best ...
