Re: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - A Koji Igarashi Game
I know what you're saying, jay_are, but it's his attitude I don't like. Not much can be done about that.

Urgh, I might buy it, but I won't back it because of Igarashi's portrait. YOU DIDN'T MAKE SOTN ALL BY YOURSELF!! Jerk.

Re: GungHo/GameArts survey about porting games to PC
Um... what the hell? Lunar has about 10 times the amount of fans that Grandia has, and I'd know, because ALL of my Lunar items sell on Ebay, and RARELY my Grandia items do. Someone would **** a brick if they saw a Nall stuffed doll for sale for under $500, and I have two Puffy dolls, and no one care...

Re: Silent Hills & The Great Konami/Kojima Debacle of 2015!
However, there are TONS of Castlevania fans that hate it *raises hand* Yeah, LOS was ...not Castlevania. One thing I didn't like about IGA was that he seemed to give himself too much credit (he was not solely responsible for SOTN, but it was that that inspired the gameplay of the rest of them) and ...

Hahahaha!! Like anyone could take Daryl from Walking Dead seriously in anything else, anyway! Does he use a crossbow? Is there only zombies in the game, this time? Is he a redneck? Heh.

Re: GameArts (Grandia/II & Lunar) Collection
Well, it's neat that you can be in the same house as yours for a week, heh... I adore my sister's husband, but my husband's brother is a nightmare. In any case, I was kidding above (just in case.) I would LOVE to play the original Langrissers, but I can't stand strategy games, no matter how many tim...

Re: GameArts (Grandia/II & Lunar) Collection
In-laws ruin everything.I had time carved out in 2005 to play it and my brother-in-law visited and insisted on playing some other game during the only long at-home vacation I had, and I never got back to it.

Re: Megadrive Fan Mag with Nall on Cover
I was thinking of making that picture my avatar or sig, but didn't want to upset Alunissage, though she gets the magazine in the event of my death. You did a good job patching it up! Although I do apologize again for the fuzzy edges.. I would've had to have smashed the magazine's spine against the s...

Re: Silent Hills & The Great Konami/Kojima Debacle of 2015!
What about the Xenoblade series? The "father" of that game skipped around companies all the time, but the games still got made. They just had to be "spiritual sequels." If Kojima came out with a game called "Meadow Academy", about a man looking for his daughter in an ab...

Re: Breath of Fire III - Australian scene................
There was a similar scene in Austin Powers 3, in which he and his father have a conversation almost entirely comprised of European slang. Subtitles are on the bottom of the screen. Same joke, just in a game. Yes, they're poking fun at Australians. Unless you're from Australia, and can't stand gettin...

I figured that if it was Italian, and not in The Godfather, it must not be all that important.

Hi Kizyr! Yes, the bankruptcy thing I knew wasn't entirely their fault, and I kind of made it seem like that in the first post. Not my intention. In trouble? That was a pretty common complaint. Some people LOVE it, and I figured I'd get an ear full from someone that it made the game for. Heh, not li...

Re: GameArts (Grandia/II & Lunar) Collection
Fair enough but you could've at least named off the games with worse voice acting than Grandia. I actually haven't played a lot of games with a significant amount of voice acting, but Rune Factory 2 was pretty bad. You can just tell they grabbed someone in the studio, and said, "Hey, do an elf...

Re: GameArts (Grandia/II & Lunar) Collection
Well, I meant crude sex jokes , not sex, period. I find that the early teens are when people, still mostly children, are pressured into excepting it as a good time. Almost all of the messages they receive are bad ones, and I knew it, and I tried desperately to escape them. At the time, I had never p...

Re: Way to go, Nintendo!
I agree that they should learn to can it until it's ready to go, but one reason they don't, is because they want support. They want to know that people even care about what they're doing, and would want to play it. They want and need encouragement when it's hard, and look to prospective players. But...

I see. I would've sued Sony something fierce, but that's just me, and while I have no idea what they are, I'm sure there are reasons that would've have worked out. But I would've tried.

Re: Way to go, Nintendo!
What makes most sense to me is that Nintendo thinks people might play that game, for free, and not spend money on their product. Mario is their biggest cash cow, after all. But who knows why they only go after certain fan games, then.

Leo- Not even clicking your link, it's obviously an insult. I've been through enough pointless internet arguments, all for the sake of etiquette, and now I'm just done. My goal actually isn't to be rude- I'm just too spent to give you what you want, and maybe even what you deserve out of a decent in...
