I had this classic for a while years back.

Yes. Just to age myself, I started out collecting it on VHS, and halfway through switched to DVDs. Eventually I gave all those to someone and just went with a box set. It's an interesting deconstruction series. I seem to be one of the few I've talked to that enjoys the original ending.
