First person to pre-buy Lunar: Genesis?!?!
W00t!! I pre bought it today! I hope I was the first person to do so in the US!
Today, Lunar Genesis went live in GameStop systems all over the nation!!! Maybe it was yesterday, b/c I didn't check yesterday... but anyway, some interesting info. Gamestop lists that:
Lunar Genesis will be $29.99 and releases on 7/26 (HAHAHAHA WHAT A FILTHY LIE!!).
But, to everyone out there, whether you have a DS yet or not, GO RESERVE IT!! Suprise the company, make this title huge! If we get a lot of reserves early on, then when the game is actually supposed to come out, GameStop will make huge posters and banners and possibly a standee for marketing to promote it. PLUS, reserving guarantees you a copy, and it's only $5 down (which goes towards the final price- you can pay anywhere from $5 to the entire thing) - And I can GUARANTEE that every store will get very, very limited amounts of copies when it comes out if none (or very few) are reserved. Sooo many people don't reserve their PSP or DS games and they have to wait a week for 2nd shipment...

If it works out that way, I'm not so sure lunar-net.com would be plastered on things like posters and standee's though. Magazine advertisements, it's possible, much like Lunar Legend, but I'm not sure if they'd do it with other things. It sure would be kickass if it got in the game booklet this time though.

Hopefully the place doesn't become extinct like Gamer's Republic did for being recognized by WD...speaking of which, why was Working Designs down for so long?

Messed up!
How can they only make it for DS though?! I don't have enough money left at any time to afford an old Playstation game, let alone a $120 dollar system!!! Then the game o go with it, I only have advanced because he sold it to me for $10! I have only played it for 1 hour since I bought it 2 months ago!

They can make it only for DS because you're not the only potential buyer. Though it certainly will be interesting to see how the DS is used.
Huh? I'm sure GR's demise had nothing at all to do with WD...in fact, one of its editors was later WD's PR person. WD's site was down recently from a hardware snafu, as I recall.Insydius wrote:Hopefully the place doesn't become extinct like Gamer's Republic did for being recognized by WD...speaking of which, why was Working Designs down for so long?
