Well hopefully people end up buying Lunar in Japan, and in the US so the fanbase becomes even more established. As far as handhelds are concerned, the trend is that they usually sell more than the consoles. Considering the prices, they don't move as quickly as the GameBoy, or GBA did though.
I still saw DS' bundled with Super Mario 64 DS when I was at Wal*Mart tonight. Wal*Mart has the promotion with Nintendo where you get the game with the indigo DS. I got mine when K-Mart had a one week promotion, so I was able to get a silver DS with the Metroid Prime Hunters demo, and Super Mario 64 DS for free.
I don't know if the bundle will be priced more or not, with the price drop a day away.
