WK Leo question...
I was just playing through EBC again and I came across something that has always bothered me and maybe someone here has an answer. On Ronfar's door there is a Note from Leo signed "LM". What's the M stand for? (I'm tempted to say Mystere, though that would seem like a strange last name )

Re: WK Leo question...
This comes up over and over and over... there is no answer. The initials weren't in the Japanese game, and Leo doesn't have a last name. Nor does Mystere have a name in the Japanese game; he just calls himself the Masked White Knight.

Re: WK Leo question...
It can't be initials for Leo's name because there's no dot in between the L and M unless it was overlooked during translation.
It would have looked like this "L.M" if it was initials but it only appeared as LM. The only thing I can think of is maybe Leo Might since he's supposed to be mighty and righteous?

He looks like one, all shaggy and scruffy looking like Paul Bunyan minus the beard and giant hatchet.
Oh and the enormous size of him as well.

Re: WK Leo question...
Did you read my first post in this thread? Nothing about the initials could be "overlooked during translation" because the initials themselves do not appear in the Japanese version -- with or without dots. And people write their initials without the dots all the time, so that argument doesn't make sense either.swordandshield wrote:It can't be initials for Leo's name because there's no dot in between the L and M unless it was overlooked during translation.

The Japanese name for Leo's persona is "Kamen Shirokishi" if I recall. In the Eternal Blue Lunatic Parade Drama CDs, Mauri ends up donning a mask as well, much to Ronfar's despair. XD

仮面の白騎士 = Masked White Knight, not really a name. KFNobiyuki77 wrote:The Japanese name for Leo's persona is "Kamen Shirokishi" if I recall. In the Eternal Blue Lunatic Parade Drama CDs, Mauri ends up donning a mask as well, much to Ronfar's despair. XD

Name, title, whatever you call it, he insists people refer to him in that manner when he's wearing the mask.
Ruby drops the Kamen and just calls him Shirokishi-san though. ^^

I just didn't want other folks seeing that and going around thinking that Mystere's Japanese name is "Kamen". KFNobiyuki77 wrote:Name, title, whatever you call it, he insists people refer to him in that manner when he's wearing the mask.

Though it's rather funny in the Lunatic Parade when Ruby tricks Mystere into taking Jean on a date because she's worried Jean's gonna start liking women instead of men ('cause girls keep writing her love letters, and Jean comments she does look rather good in men's clothing...) Best damn track on the disc! ^_^
