I got tired of waiting, and asked GungHo about the status of this potential Lunar game. They were about as helpful as GameArts (ie not very helpful at all.) Their response is below:

It's a shame that Lunar isn't available in some form on the PSN in America. Lunar SSH is available on PSN for the PS Vita, but I'm really not that fond of that particular remake due to the loading screens and the intro battle, which pretty much spoils the whole plot.

After all, we have 90's RPGs like Xenogears, Suikoden II, and FF7 available on PSN.

grandia 1 HD remaster has been officially announced in steam and nintendo switch wh maybe Lunar will also be remastered since it also appears in the database steam ( sorry my english is not good)
