Likewise. I'll vote for just about anyone if it's against Lucia. Besides, I've always liked Phacia.

I too voted for Phacia. I always liked her and well... Lucia is alright I s'pose, she's pretty and all but her character didn't grow on me so much. I was much more fond of characters like Jean, Ronfar, and Leo.

Kyle vs. Leo. Leo all the way here. Nothing against Kyle. He was a good character, but I just felt Leo was one of the best developed characters in the game, and showed a lot of development throughout the game. He wasn't your standard party member by any means, considering he was your enemy for almost half the game.

Intresting matchup. Kyle's immaturity is the complete opposite of Leo's honor code and Dignity. Easy pick for me.

Why should you vote for Kyle?

Sure, Leo has a well-laid out path towards redemption and possibly has one of the best character arcs in the entire series.

But Kyle has this: "Just wait 'til you see what I can do with my tongue!"

That SO has my vote.

p.s.: I am officially bitter that you guys don't have a screencap of that line! I was SO going to plug it into this post!

It's closer than I expected. All tied up actually. I thought Kyle would beat Leo fairly soundly. Leo didn't exactly do all that well the last time we did this tournament. (then again, now that I think about it, I'm not sure Kyle did either)

Still, I'm sure Lucia will soundly defeat either of them, but if Leo makes it through, he'll get my vote over Lucia.

More recently, I picked Leo over Kyle. I still play Leo's theme, Justice, when I feel particularly righteous about something.

Leo all the way! Next to Jean, he's my favorite character of the entire series.

I mean, he has the most solid sense of justice out of any of them (well, except perhaps Hiro). He was misguided in the beginning, but the events of EB greatly changed him for the better, and you could see that change as the game progressed. He was also realistic; he went through crises of faith, and instead of unrealistically overcoming them immediately, he had to take a step back and reassess what he was doing (his departure at Serak Palace, his reclusion at the Mystic Ruins, etc.).

Actually, of all the characters who get more fleshed out in the novels, I think Leo's is done the best. Lucia comes a close second. KF

Yeah, I really liked how Leo was done, even though I didn't like him at all in the beginning. His personal crisis just was far more interesting and believable than any of the others to me.

It's really hard for me to choose between Leo and Kyle because I like them both so much. But I ended up voting for Kyle because he's an SSSC character. xD I know, call me shallow, but I feel much more attatched to the SS cast than the EB cast.

Today was an easy one for me, Alex all the way. I never did like Xenobia, not even after I found out she did it all for her love for Ghaleon. Alex may have been a quiet hero, and I may poke fun at him at times (for "Luna..." as his main vocabulary) but that man had a lot of heart, determination, and his sprite looked darn cool as a dragonmaster. Yay for Alex!

True. He's so good, he doesn't need the confirmation. He'll be fine living with his...his majesty, and honestly, and conviction of beliefs.
