I wish. It probably would've prevented members of the audience from falling asleep. xD But it was all factual, so that means no Jack or Rose. Personally, I thought the play was fascinating, because I love all things Titanic. But I guess if you're not a Titanic geek like me, then it was boring as all get out. The first act of the play we reenacted being on the Titanic and the sinking. The second act of the play was a reenactment of the trials held in New York.

Heh, do you have the song memorized? "Oh, they built the ship Titanic, to sail the ocean blue..." I may never forget that. For some reason the Cal Band (UC Berkeley) sings that while marching up to the stadium on game days, with a few edits to the lyrics. When I was learning it as a new bandmember I actually remembered a bit of the song from reading an article on the Titanic that was in, of all things, Highlights for Children, when I was about 8.Lunartic wrote: I love all things Titanic

Freaky. I loved reading about the titanic. I have a bunch of books, buying a new one whenever I found one I didn't have. For the longest time, I used to love all things Titanic, even building ships and try to sink them the way the Titanic sank. Nowadays, I don't think twice about Titanic, but I still hold some intrest in it and I still have the movie plus all the books I collected over the years. Oh, and a uncompleted model of the Titanic too.LuNaRtIc wrote:... I love all things Titanic.

I went to school that had a lot to do with ships and we modeled a simulation on what we theorized happened to the titanic based on findings from people who found the ship. It was actually amazing how many warnings they didnt listen to. We had many admiralty law students so for them i guess it was fun to see who came of fault from that, but sinking boats was fun for me.
I wasn't born to fit in, I was born to stand out
I bet you'd love to visit my town then! We have a large permanent Titantic display downtown, and this is where all the unknowns were buried. The Titanic sunk off the coast here, so a lot of the work involving looking for bodies and artifacts was done from here.LuNaRtIc wrote:I wish. Your costume looks fantastic by the way, and the play sounds interesting. If I lived nearby, I'd come and see it for sure.

Titanic... its always been a intrest to me. I'd have loved to see your play! I'd get to see you and learn about something interesting at the same time! I'm not sure why this particular subject seems to interest many, not even myself. I find that if there is a new book ro documentary or something on it I have to seek it out and learn more. Lame? Maybe... but its one of many subjects I like to read about. ^^
Hope the play went well, even if people were bored!

Okay! Maybe one of these qualifies as art, but oh well!
Newest hat...used to have an awesome feather sticking out of the side but my cat ate it.
And the art...
I'd also like to post a pciture of my loving cat who recently passed away. We fought hard to keep him with us, but in the end it wasn't enough.
Rest in Peace!

Majin, your hair is... crazy. And Justin, how do you hook up with such cool people as the Human Torch? I also love your Wii hat, though it doesn't quite beat YoungDyne's. ^_^
Here's a picture of some of the links I have for chainmailing... I messed up the photo, but enjoyed the result.

SU-FI! I hope I don't get banned for this pic. It's not really bad at all.
I apologize if these pictures come out super big. That's what I get for rollin' with Photobucket.

Awww, you guys are so adorable! Well, for the lack of a better word that sums up all the adjectives I could use for each of you.
And I'm still too embarrassed to post my pics.

Alright then, I guess I could show a pic when we did Star Wars (Episode 1 though) for a play and I was Padme. Nah, just kidding, that was how many years ago. I'll just show more recent ones.
Me (left) with some schoolmates at a beach party.
Still at a beach party.
At prom last year.
Backstage pic (actually my mirror reflection, lol) at a show we had.
