GhaleonOne: If you shamelessly promote this board on Lunar-NET, you're banned!

LMAO. I read the post, could be nice to get the employees back to talk, especially Vic.

That's not even worth the $200 for a license for Vbulletin IMO.

$200? What a ripoff O_o. Then again, I'm used to free forums like phpbb and invisionboard. But for that kind of money, I hope that sucker has plenty of whistles for the admins to use :). Mmmm, whistles.

Yeah I looked at it when I made my first site. It was $200 for 2 years. And that was back in 2003. VB isn't worth that. It may be a little more secure than phpBB 2.0.X but they're gonna have to entirely recode their program once phpBB 3.0 comes out.

Umm... be nice. Many of the users who frequented the WD board would disagree. To understand this forum, you would have to had seen the WD forum back in its prime (I lurked it then).

I had hoped WD themselves would be hosting this new board, only to find they were not and its just a fansite shadowing a former great thing. LunarThreads has been the best salvation when and after WD boards coming and goings.

Yeah, I was hoping WD had kept the forums as well, but alas they didn't. As a matter of fact, I was kind of hoping on them keeping the site as an archive, but the costs for that would probably be too high.

We could mirror the whole site here on Lunar-Net or something if Mickey or Kizyr or whoever is in charge of that is feeling exceptionally active. It would be a great way to represent the fandom.

Nobi, thanks for putting it back up (don't mind some of the comments here, most of these folks had little to do with the WDMB). Sorry I didn't comment sooner, having been there since it opened, but I've been a bit MIA 'net wise lately. I haven't had a chance to look it over or get registered, but I will soon.
