Hey guys, what's happening? Good ol' Shadowace aka MagicEmperorNash from the yeolde Working Design boards from long ago back again!

It's been a few years since I've been around. I got a hankering to come back and see what was going on. Good to see my account hasn't been purged! I hope everyone's doing well. I miss those that remember me and a hearty hello to those who don't!

Yeah I know, I've lost touch with a lot of people over the years, heh. I can't believe that it has been 10 years since I made the account over here! I'd like to say a lot has changed, but I'm pretty much the exact same person. Still loveless, still hopeless, but still loveable!

I've actually been writing in my spare time and recently started working towards a degree in PC Repair as well as my A+ Cert. Better late than never I suppose! Hopefully I can stay around a bit more this time, since a good chunk of the WD board members are pretty much second family to me.

Yeah, I was thinking about you and the rest of the old school crew the other day, Alun.

That's why I decided to pop back in and see what was going on. Kinda went off the radar for a while. Long story short: Life has decided I needed a big lesson. Was almost homeless (technically, I have been and still am, in the sense of the word "home", but I guess you can say I've been "houseless".) My mom passed away about a year ago and that's been pretty rough. Things finally seem to be falling into place little by little though, so that's always a good thing!

Brit, I'm pretty old. Mostly was around the old Working Designs forums waaaaay back in the day. I stuck around here for a few years and then just dropped off the face the earth for a bit. Hopefully I can attempt to stick around this time for a while.

Glad to see you back though... Sorry to hear that things have been rough. I hope things continue to pick back up for you though (as they seem to be?).

I, uh, still post regularly, but have these bouts (like just now) where I'm busy for two weeks then check back in and make up for lost time.

Aw, crud, I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I hope your life is at least better than pushing shopping carts in parking lots though.

Right now it's killing me that I (think I) can remember your birthday (May 17?) but not your name. Wait. Thomas?

I found a job I hated more than shopping cart pushing.

Working at an Amazon warehouse. OMG, that mess sucked! I did it for 3 seasons (not full seasons, however, due to a few circumstances). Things are improving. They aren't there just yet, but they are getting to be that way. One day they will be! I look forward to it!

I was a pretty emotional kinda "kid" back then. I'll be 40 in 2 years and it doesn't feel like it lol.

I'm just glad to see this place still around and all the familiar faces.

It seems I have dropped off the face of the Earth again, oops. :p I hope things are well with people. Still a work in progress, but after a few more unforeseen circumstances that would make even the Vile Tribe go "eeeesh", I believe things are starting to piece together, little by iittle.
