Between the Buried and Me

Post by Ozone »

Okay, so they have a new album titled Colors, and it's surprising. It has metallic elements (very obvious ones that fill the majority of the album), but it also has old school country, blues and prog rock running around in it, even more so than their last album. To be honest, it's not for everyone, and even I found myself going "wtf?" a few times, but, I'm impressed with the overall musical ability that is displayed as well as the innovation and use of various elements throughout the album. It's very strange, and a hell of a trip. Well worth at least giving a listen to.

On more than a few occasions, but he actually sings on it too. It's an odd album. There were times that I had to make sure that I was listening to Between the Buried and Me.
