Re: Start of an illustration for my book
Very very cool. Is this going to be a novel? Im a creative writing enthusiast myself and am currently doing some research so I can write a book of my own. A bit of advice though, when you complete your manuscript and send it to different publishers, don't send the illustration with it. I took part in a workshop and this was one of the rules they specified. If you get someone to take on your novel, you can present your cover art to them afterwards. But seriously, excellent work. Can't wait to see the finished product.

That could be a problem, as I've planned 10-15 illustrations for the book... >>

Only 10-15? That's not much. I have a pretty good feeling that the publishers aren't gonna want it if there's only 10-15 of those books! Talk about flien of the shellves!

He said 10 - 15 illustrations in the book, not 10 - 15 books.
Looks nice, almost dark. =D

I did say 10-15 illustrations...
...but I should add that it's planned to be a series of 9.
...
don't faint, the 9 books would be short, like only 200-300 pages-ish.
I'm already into chapter 8 of the 2nd book as we speak.

Whoa, looks even better! You're really talented...the drawing itself is impressive, but I really love the coloring.

ohhhhhhhhhh. Now I get it. When I looked at the first drawing, I thought that was some alien dude with horible arms. Took me the second one to find out the arm things were part of the jacket. lol. But still, it seems a bit.....well....... awsome! Good work.

I know what you mean. Sometimes it takes a while to color especially if you do it by hand.
