Goddess Song on Guitar (Vid)
Threw this together real quick at work so it's a bit sloppy but I thought someone on here may enjoy it. The first part (before the drums come in) got messed up in the audio transition so I had to overdub it. Also the intonation on this guitar is off as you can hear when I hit the higher notes. This was my first shot at it, I figured it would be fun to do. I will probably redo it when I get some free time. Thanks for checking it out!

I have no musical talent or expertise whatsoever, but I thought this was pretty amazing. D:

Wow, that's very nice of you to say! I have been listening to the SSS and EB soundtracks a lot this week so I may do some more soon. Thanks for checking it out!LuNaRtIc wrote:I have no musical talent or expertise whatsoever, but I thought this was pretty amazing. D:

Yes. YES YES YES. That is awesome!
Rock on dude, and keep working on it. Imagine with a little polish how much better it can sound (though it already sounds epic!)

Re: Goddess Song on Guitar (Vid)
phyco126 - Thanks! I jammed on it again the other day and I had some more ideas so I am gonna try that out.
Shiva Indis - Thanks. If Alex played guitar instead I'm sure I would have got into music way younger.
Kizyr - Sounds good to me. My main instrument is bass and I started a slow arrangement on that but I can try it on Uke. I'll jam on it today and see how it goes.

It's still a travesty that Alex's instrument was changed from harp.
For some reason I was expecting this to be what Ghaleon is playing in Vane when Luna finds him (with that bizarre comment that she thought it would be Alex, as if an ocarina sounds anything at all like a lute -- another reason that harp makes more sense), even though that wouldn't be called the Goddess song. That might be interesting to hear on acoustic.
The one time -- and I mean that, it was just one evening -- that I played ukulele did not convince me of its suitability as a melodic instrument. That was so long ago that I might not even have played TSS yet, though.

I was actually just messing around--I didn't expect you to actually have a ukelele!7CityRansom wrote:Kizyr - Sounds good to me. My main instrument is bass and I started a slow arrangement on that but I can try it on Uke. I'll jam on it today and see how it goes.
Still, it'd still be pretty neat. KF

Yeah, I have two of them up here and I gave it a shot on both. Sounds much better on the Baritone Uke so I will throw that together this week sometime. I would do it today but all of a sudden Va became all Snow-dified so I stayed home. I appreciate the challenge to try songs (especially the VG songs) on different instruments.Kizyr wrote: I was actually just messing around--I didn't expect you to actually have a ukelele!

And Alunissage, I am putting something together for the song Ghaleon was playing. I think it will sounds pretty good but I gotta take a little more time on it. I'll post that soon too! Thanks for all the nice words everyone!

Now all you need to do is get your girlfriend to sing 'lalala' when you play it
Don't blame me, Lucia promised me lots of snuggles and cuddles if I would be her PR guy.

There you are. I was wondering what happened to you. I can be honest in saying that I really had hoped you would come back by here, perhaps with some new work
