Everyone, I'm curious to know what games you are looking forward to in 2006. Mine are:

FFXII
Kingdom Hearts 2
Zelda: Twilight Princess
FFIII (Nintendo DS)
Children of Mana
Okami (sp)

I'm also looking forward to Halo 3, but I have no intention of getting a 360.

The list is short atm:

FF XII- if it doesn't get pushed back to 2007

Grandia III

FF XI- Treasures of Ugt Akpeth (not right spelling but close enough)

Xenosaga III- not sure if it's a 2006 release, but it has started production

Halo 3

KoToR III- if they get around to getting it started in time

Zelda Twilight Princess

Suikoden V

That's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more, but I'd have to pull up some calenders.

Damn, I'll just second almost every game Roas just mentioned, because that's my list too. Save maybe Xenosaga, as I haven't played the first two. And KoToR, because I could get into it. And FFXI because I'm not into online RPGs. But FFXII, Grandia III, Zelda and Suikoden are my most wanted currently. I'm sure Halo 3 will be a blast, but I'll probably wait on the 360 until more games come along for it.

Another reason to wait on Halo 3 is to make sure the part of the fanbase that only plays Story Mode does not get screwed again. The cursing and wailing I heard from my friends who got Halo 2 hot off the stands would make a sailor blush

The last two are iffy... I'm just lookin' for nice games for the NDS since DS was a bust. :\ There's a few games for NDS that I'm hoping to get for christmas like "Under the Knife" and "Into the Blue".

Okami and Zelda are the main ones that come to mind for me. But I never remember when anything is due to be coming out anyway. Zelda is about the only series I'll buy right when it comes out; I'm a bit miffed that (last I heard) it's intended to be a simultaneous NA and Japan release so I can't get it earlier than most via importing like I did with the last three. And I saw Okami and E3 and thought it was really awesome-sounding. I love the idea of playing as an animal.

I'm looking forward to Suikoden V even though I was rather disappointed in IV. I also need to finish playing Tactics, but with my husband in NOLA working the past few months...eh...it's just not the same playing Suikoden games without him around. ^^;;

I never know when games will slip into another year due to delays. With that said here are some titles coming out, hopefully in 2006 (but not necessarily) that are on my must buy list.

I didn't realize Grandia III was coming out in like 3 weeks. Now they're talking about releasing Suikoden V (with a limited edition!) in late March.

Then with Zelda and FFXII coming out later, among other big releases, I think this is the biggest RPG year since the Playstation/Saturn/N64 era. At least to me.
