I can't believe I forgot about Chris, even though I met him there and we exchanged rather a lot of voicemails trying to meet up. :P

I was with Chris much of the 2001 E3. So had that occured you likely would have met me as well.

Blah, I just realized you said you met him there (I thought you said you were trying to meet up with him there). I spent about 2/3 of the time or so with Chris running around the show when I didn't have appointments or other things to do.

We did meet up eventually, with several other WDMB folks -- CEGhaleon, Jess5, Radhil, and zq (who was with me). I remember also shaking hands with Rapier, but that was a very brief meeting. We didn't spend a huge amount of time with Chris, though.

I spent a lot of time with Chris, and obviously Rapier/Wade since we were all staying and traveling together. I also spent time with people I knew from various websites, message boards and chatrooms. Along with a few appointments and then actually covering the show floor.

My lunar collection may be decidely weak, but I am still a serious fan of the series. I own the Reissue of SSSC which isnt a deluxe version for PSX, and then the deluxe box set for EBC. I did own Legend at one point, but once I got my copy of SSSC I really saw no point to keep it. Unfortunately I was a slave to the SNES whenever the sega CD versions released, so I have never experienced them, though I have been seeking out copies for years, just so that I can see the differences. Maybe this makes me somewhat of a Lunar Noob, but I am a fan til the end none the less. I cant wait for my copy of Lunar DS to arrive next week.

Heh, I should take a shot of my collection one of these days. Sure, it may be mostly Magic School-related things, but I'm still proud of what I own.

Games:
Lunar Silver Star Story (JP), Saturn, non-MPEG version
Lunar Eternal Blue Complete (US), Playstation
Lunar Silver Star Story Complete (US), Playstation
Lunar Walking School (JP), Game Gear
Magic School Lunar (JP), Saturn

Soundtracks:
Lunar Magical Island Vol. 1 (both authentic and bootleg versions)
Lunar Magical Island Vol. 2 (authentic and bootleg)
Mahou Gakuen Lunar -Aoi Ryuu no Himitsu- anime soundtrack

Manga:
Lunar - Yonenki no Owari (Childhood's End)
Magical School Lunar Vol. 1
Magical School Lunar Vol. 2

Others:
Magic School Lunar strategy guide (Dragon Magazine Game Collection)
Mahou Gakuen Lunar anime promotional folder (with Evangelion Death & Rebirth on the back)

Sadly I still want more. I hope to get Lunar DS and import Eternal Blue for the Saturn at the very least, though I'm really hoping to find the rest of the MS merchandise I've been looking for (namely that tabletop RPG book and the anime).

Yeah, my collection is nothing really out of the ordinary, but I'm proud of it...

+EB
+SSSC
+EBC
+LL
+Nall Plush

...and everything that comes with the Complete box sets. I recently got EB, and I'm in the middle of playing that. I'm still having a hard time getting my hands on TSS though. I hope to get DS by christmas at the latest. *Sigh* seeing everyone else's stuff has seriously increased my LUNAR wish list...lol.

I know exactly how you feel.

Now, to all of the big collectors out there- do you have any tips for those who are trying to, I guess, start out? (By the way, much thanks to the person who posted a list of where to look. I'm definitely going to check them out.)
Anyway, thanks very much for your time.

Sadly, at this point my only advice is eBay. The manga may be available here and there; I think PlanetAnime still had one or two last I looked (but they were probably the Magic School ones, which aren't as meaningful if you haven't played that game). I got my EB novels from Sasuga Books, and they appear to still have vols. 2 and 3, but not 1. (They're in Japanese, but do have a few nice drawings in them.) Sasuga also has the Japanese Lunar Legend guide, which I found useful.

Thank you very much, even if you feel the information is sparse. I'll go check those places out. I'm interested in collecting Lunar stuff, but...I'm a bit late to the party, I guess.

I got a nice digital camera for christmas so I thought I'd share my Lunar collection with everyone :)

I'll lay it all out at some point in the future, but for now...

I have all of the imports for the originals and remakes of the two main lunar games. LL import and original, LDS import and original. I have Lunar: Magic School (tradin' cards included ^^), but not Walking School. I have the Eternal Blue OST, and Lunar Songs Vol. 1 and 2. I used to have the Luna keychain (If I'd known at the time just how darn rare they all were I would've bought the whole set at Otakon almost 10 years ago!), but the chain broke and I lost her forever, however, I still do have Alex. I have most of the import and english strategy guides for the games. The artbooks, but I'm missing a lot of the manga. Gotta catch up on that ^^ But I must thank my best friend Kathie for most of it. She got a few things for me during her two trips to Japan and she's just so much better at finding stuff online than me :P Unfortunately, when WDs was selling all of the merchandise I was flat out a poor kid and my parents wouldn't buy any of it for me, so I was never able to collect the posters and other memorabilia ;_;

I also missed my chance at the Nall plush when vic was selling them on eBay - blast my horrible luck with money! ;o;

To be honest, save your money and get Lunar EB dude. Lunar DS doesn't even compare.

I sadly only have the extra stuff that came with Lunar:EBC(I bought Lunar:SSSC used, so it was minus map and jewel case... do have the box and instruction manual, though), the official guides for SSSC and EBC, and the Ghaleon punching puppet.

I want a Nall plushie, too. ;_; <3 Nall.
