Re: *UPDATE!* LUNAR:SSH PREVIEW plus LE Packaging Box!
Man, you guys are lucky. My gamestop had 2 of the promo boxes, so I asked for one. They said to check back in a week, so I called, they said to check back again in a week. I went to the store in the middle of that week, and they were gone, replaced by God Of War 3 stuff. The guy said they were "long gone". Grrrrr.
Years ago I managed to snag a Lunar 2: EB store display, cause they said they were done with it. I actually had my name written on the back of one with my phone number at a differant store, and I never heard from that one.
If anyone manages to find an extra PSP promo box, I'll gladly buy it.

I was actually really really lucky too. I was supposed to get the Lunar psp box from one gamestop but they threw it out too. Another person had claimed the other box at the other gamestop here too. But they never came to get it. So I ended up with one.
And there's actual "mini" display boxes for games like Silent Hill 4 ps2 which I've had for a while. Marvel vs Capcom 2 ps2, and a bunch of others. I still have my old giant FF8 ps1 display box too if anyone remembers that one. Was there any other display items for the Lunar games too?

If you have a Game Crazy near you I would check to see if they also have any promo items.

I tried Game Crazy and the guy told me that no such game exists. Happened to me once before with La Pucelle Tactics. He didn't even bother to look it up. The Game Crazy here sucks pretty bad, but I'm not gonna get into that.

Wow, epic fail Game Crazy. Is yours a stand alone store or part of Hollywood Video? I don't think that guy should be working in gaming store.

It's part of Hollywood Video. I've had several bad experiences there so I try to stay away from it.

I wouldn't blame you. We used to have a Hollywood Video + Game Crazy right down the street from me but they closed a while back. There are some others at the far ends of the city.

Aw, I wanted those G/S boxes but my Gamestop threw them out already. Theyre holding some G/S posters and stuff for me, though. I plan to get Farewell for the bonus stuff. =)

Did he then ask if you wanted to pre-order Madden 2010? KFwhitedragon_nall wrote:I tried Game Crazy and the guy told me that no such game exists. Happened to me once before with La Pucelle Tactics. Hahaha. No he didn't. They are madly obsessed with the Xbox 360 though. I was waiting for the 360 sales pitch they always give me when I go there.Kizyr wrote:Did he then ask if you wanted to pre-order Madden 2010? KF

When I picked up SO4: International, the newest clerk was mad (like, obviously he was joking around) that he didn't get the game first. They didn't know it was there, but the usual guy went to the back to check the boxes for me. ;p

Well he isn't doing his job if he didn't even know they had the game.
